Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join their team in Stoneham-et-Tewkesbury, QC. Visa sponsorship may be considered for international applicants, with opportunities for LMIA and other support for candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $27.00 to $35.00 hourly (To be negotiated)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
• Shifts: Day, Evening, Night
• Vacancies: 2

Responsibilities

Key Tasks

• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work.
• Perform repair work on heavy trucks.

Qualifications

Languages

English or French

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience required.
