Job Details

• Location: Scarborough, ON
• Salary: $36.00 per hour, 30 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Flexible working hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends

Responsibilities

• Calculate crane capacities and operate various cranes for lifting, moving, and placing materials.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and read blueprints to determine work requirements.
• Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
• Assist in demolition, pipeline construction, and framing houses.
• Maintain and clean cranes, ensuring operation efficiency.
• Instruct apprentices and operate different types of cranes, including mobile, tower, and gantry cranes.

Education and Experience

• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Experience: 1 month to less than 7 months in a related field.

Work Environment

• Outdoor environment with potential exposure to heights, dust, and chemicals.
• Collaborative work environment with accessibility accommodations available.
