Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Food Service Supervisor. This position offers the potential for visa sponsorship for international applicants, including candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: 500 Bloomfield Road, Chatham, ON, N7M 5J5
• Work Location: On Site
• Salary: $17.50 hourly for 30 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time
• Special Commitments: Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure food and service meet quality control standards
• Prepare budgets and cost estimates
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Establish work schedules

Supervision

• Supervise 1 to 10 people, including food service counter attendants and food preparers
