Job Overview

We are seeking a food service supervisor. This position may offer immigration support for qualified applicants, including support for candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: 100 Mile House, BC
• Work setting: On site
• Salary: $28.85 to $34.65 hourly (to be negotiated)
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
• Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week

Education and Experience

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Hire food service staff
• Ensure food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Establish work schedules

Supervision

• Supervise 5-10 people including cooks and food service staff.
