Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for an Academic Dean at their college or university. We provide immigration support that is potentially available for overseas candidates seeking to work in Canada.

• Location: Vancouver, BC
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $130,000 to $145,000 annually (To be negotiated)
• Terms of Employment: Full-time, Term or contract
• Vacancies: 1 vacancy

Overview

• Languages: English
• Education: Earned doctorate degree
• Experience: 5 years or more
• On Site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with faculty officials to develop registration policies.
• Direct and control academic and related activities of the school.
• Evaluate academic activities of the school.
• Plan and organize academic and related activities of the school.
• Direct activities of staff involved in compiling information on courses and admissions.
• Recruit and hire teachers and staff.
• Provide direct teaching and advising to students.
• Administer and control budgets for projects, programs, and support services.
• Promote activities organized by committees.
• Recommend faculty appointments and curriculum revisions.
