Our client is seeking a Child Caregiver for a private home. This role offers opportunities for visa sponsorship for eligible international applicants.

Job Details

• Location: Grande Prairie, AB
• Work location: On site
• Salary: $2,848 CAD monthly / 40 hours per week
• Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
• Work conditions: Day shift

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for household in the absence of parents.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Shop for food and household supplies.
• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
• Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens.
• Bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Prepare infants and children for rest periods.
• Take children to and from school and appointments.
• Tend to children’s emotional well-being.
• Assist children with homework.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
• Languages: Proficient in English.

Credentials

• CPR Certificate.
• First Aid Certificate.

Security and Safety

• Child Abuse Registry check.
• Child welfare check.
• Criminal record check.
• Reference required.

• Transportation: Public transportation is available.
• Work Environment: Non-smoking.
• Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent communication skills, patience, and reliability.
