Position: Assistant Manager – Accommodation Services

Work Setting: On site in a hotel, motel, or resort environment

Job Overview

This role involves overseeing accommodation services with a focus on policy development, staff management, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have experience in hospitality and will lead a team of 16-20 people.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations
• Recruit and hire staff
• Supervise staff and conduct performance reviews
• Negotiate with suppliers and clients
• Conduct training sessions for staff
• Perform front desk duties and address customer inquiries
• Prepare and monitor budgets and marketing plans
• Oversee maintenance activities and ensure compliance with policies
• Organize events and manage inventory

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required
• Languages: English
• Experience: Previous experience in hospitality is an asset

Work Conditions

• Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Criminal record check required
• Own vehicle necessary for transportation
