Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Physiotherapist to join their team. Visa sponsorship is available for international applicants, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Whitehorse, YT
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $80,000 to $130,000 annually (To be negotiated)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
• Special Commitments: Early morning, Evening, Flexible hours, 07:00 to 19:00

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical abilities
• Examine the patient
• Supervise technical and support staff
• Plan physiotherapy programs
• Select appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations
• Maintain clinical and progress reports
• Confer with other health professionals
• Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients
• Administer evaluative tests and procedures

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Languages: English
• Certificates: Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulatory Boards Examination, Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
