Job Title: Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic. Immigration support is potentially available for overseas candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. This is a full-time, permanent position.

• 10304D – 120th Street, Surrey, BC, V3V 4G1

Salary

• Salary: $43.50 per hour
• Hours: 40 hours per week

• Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Instruct apprentices
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
• Order parts and maintain inventory
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
• Service attachments and working tools
