Job Descriptions:

1. Restaurant Trainee/Manager:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to management in leading, developing, and motivating the team.
• Ensure that all standards are maintained.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer complaints swiftly.
• Monitor performance of staff to ensure high standards of service.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Manage and monitor stock levels.
• Assist in preparing reports.
• Provide support in various departments as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in Malaysian or Asian cuisine.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluent in English.
• Mandarin and/or Cantonese are strong assets.

2. Server:

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve guests in a friendly manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Assist in setting up, cleaning, and maintaining the dining area.
• Carry dishes and handle lifting as required.
• Ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Previous serving experience an asset, but training provided.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills and team player.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

3. Malaysian Cook:

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
• Manage daily food preparation including cutting and marinating.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering ingredients.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team during busy hours.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years cooking experience in Malaysian or Asian cuisine.
• Strong cooking skills are an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Mandarin and/or Cantonese considered a strong asset.
