Our client is seeking an Assistant Cook to join their team. Visa sponsorship is potentially available for overseas candidates looking for a fulfilling role in the culinary industry in Canada.

Job Details

• Location: Grande Prairie, AB
• Work Setting: Restaurant, Urban Area
• Salary: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour (to be negotiated)
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Work Hours: 35 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Clean kitchen and work areas.
• Manage kitchen operations.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.

Experience and Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
• Cuisine Specialties: Canadian.
