Our client is seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant to join their team. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Responsibilities

• Administer evaluative tests
• Monitor, check, and calibrate auditory equipment
• Assess patients’ physical abilities
• Assist healthcare professionals and physicians in patient assessments
• Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists
• Develop informational materials for patients
• Examine adult clients for hearing loss and recommend hearing instruments
• Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
• Organize and maintain inventory of clinical materials
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
• Languages: English
