Job Overview

Our client is looking for a Truck Driver based in Calgary, AB. This is a permanent, full-time position available for candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Immigration support may be provided for qualified applicants seeking opportunities in Canada.

Job Details

• Location: Calgary, AB
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $36.05 per hour
• Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week
• Vacancies: 6

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Qualifications

• Certificates, licenses: Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
• No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Will train
