Job Opportunity: Journeyman/Woman Insulator

Our client is currently seeking a Journeyman/Woman Insulator. This position offers visa sponsorship for overseas candidates, with potential support available through various Canadian immigration programs.

Job Details

• Location: Thorhild, AB
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $37.00 per hour (40 hours per week)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Vacancies: 3 vacancies

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Select type of insulation required.
• Instruct apprentices.
• Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
• Apply and secure insulation using various application methods.
• Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs.
• Remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead, and mould from buildings.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
• Languages: English required.
