Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Hunting Guide. Immigration support may be available for overseas candidates. This is a seasonal full-time position with a salary of $37.00 per hour, requiring availability for specific work settings and demands.

Location

• Various locations including Quesnel, BC and Dease Lake, BC
• On-site work environment with room and board provided

Responsibilities

• Escort groups on outdoor sport and recreational trips
• Assemble camping gear and supplies
• Operate and maintain firearms
• Advise on regulations such as hunting, fishing laws, and boating regulations
• Plan and prepare meals for trips
• Operate emergency communication devices
• Set up and take down camps
• Provide outdoor, wilderness, and wildlife instruction
• Administer first aid in emergency situations

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in a related field
• Certifications: Valid Hunting Guide License required
• Skills: Reliability, good judgement, and organizational skills
