Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Will train

Work Setting: Various locations, Relocation costs covered by employer

Responsibilities

• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Obtain special permits and documents for transporting cargo
• Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods
• Inspect vehicle and ensure safety standards
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Record cargo information and other logistics

Credentials

• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
• Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)

Additional Information

Security and Safety: Driving record check required
