Exciting opportunity for a General Farm Worker – Livestock. We offer support for candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Join us in the beautiful rural surroundings and contribute to our agricultural operations.

Job Details

• Location: Fort Nelson, BC
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $696 to $1,000 weekly (To be negotiated)
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
• Diagnose livestock health issues and handle animals.
• Milking goats and monitoring animal health.
• Organize tasks and perform livestock feeding.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Provide agricultural crop services.
• Clean stables, barns, and pens.
• Perform general farm duties.

Work Environment

• Beef cattle ranching, goat farming, and livestock combination farming.
• Working conditions may include dusty, hot, noisy, and cold environments.
• Staff accommodation provided; willingness to relocate is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Languages: English
• Experience: Experience is an asset.

• Criminal record check required.
• Public transportation is not available; candidates should have their own means of transportation.
