Job Details

• Location: Watson Lake, YT
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $19.50 hourly (35 to 40 hours per week)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Overtime required, Early morning, Evening, Night, On call, Overtime available
• Vacancies: 4

Responsibilities

• Register arriving guests and assign rooms
• Process group arrivals and departures
• Manage room reservations (take, cancel and change)
• Provide information on hotel facilities and services
• Assist with general inquiries about local points of interest
• Process guests’ departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
• Manage cash balance and complete reports
• Maintain inventory of vacancies and room assignments
• Adhere to emergency and safety protocols
• Perform clerical duties (faxing, filing, photocopying)
• Answer phone calls and relay messages
• Assist clients/guests with special needs
• Provide wake-up calls as requested
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Deliver exceptional customer service

Experience and Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Languages: English
