Job Overview

Our client is looking for an Office Cleaner who can provide excellent cleaning services. This position offers visa sponsorship possibilities for overseas candidates, including LMIA support opportunities.

Job Details

• Location: Iqaluit, NU
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $40,000 to $50,000 annually (To be negotiated)
• Terms of Employment: Full-time, Term or Contract
• Vacancies: 4

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Dust furniture
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Stock linen closet
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
• Launder clothing and household linens
• Mend clothing and linens
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings
• Clean changing rooms and showers

Requirements

• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Languages: Bilingual preferred
• Availability: Must be available for shifts and on-call work
