Job Opportunity: Chicken Catchers

Our client is currently seeking permanent, quality-focused Chicken Catchers to catch poultry. This role is vital in ensuring adherence to the highest standards of animal welfare. The language of work is English, and the work location is in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

Responsibilities

• Catching and loading live chickens and turkeys into crates.
• Following strict procedures related to animal welfare, operating standards, and safe work procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• One year of experience is considered an asset, but not necessary.
• Capable of understanding English documents and safety manuals.
• Able to work overnight shifts 5-6 nights per week.
• Physically capable of manual labor, including lifting, bending, and reaching.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.
