Our client is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee food preparation and service operations. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified overseas candidates, including support for immigration processes.

Job Details

• Location: 18819 87A Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T5T 5Z7
• Salary: $36.00 hourly, 32 to 44 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Work Conditions: Overtime required; flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, and weekends

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Hire food service staff
• Ensure food and service meet quality control standards
• Prepare budget and cost estimates
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys
• Establish work schedules

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role
• Languages: English
