Job Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Welder for a permanent, full-time position. This is an on-site role located in Mississauga, Ontario. Immigration support is potentially available for overseas candidates.

Salary

Compensation: $28.50 CAD per hour for 35 hours per week

• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret welding process specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes
• Examine welds and ensure standards are met
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
• Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal
• Determine weldability of materials
• Start up, shut down, adjust and monitor robotic welding production line
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment
