Our client is seeking an experienced automotive mechanic to join their team in Rankin Inlet, NU. This position offers potential relocation costs covered by the employer and supports candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.
Job Details

- Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time
- Work hours: 40 to 54 hours per week
- Work shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend

Responsibilities
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems
- Repair or replace mechanical units or components
- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications
- Estimate parts and labour costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Perform scheduled maintenance services
- Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
- Complete reports to record problems and work performed
- Provide customer service
Qualifications
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 3 to less than 5 years
- Certification: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
