Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Family Physician for their clinic. This position offers potential visa sponsorship for qualified candidates, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: 630 Redstone Drive NE suite 145, Calgary, AB, T3N 1L4
• Salary: $300,000 to $400,000 annually (to be negotiated)
• Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
• Work Location: On site

Responsibilities

• Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals.
• Examine patients’ health conditions to identify diseases and injuries.
• Help patients develop healthy habits and reshape their approach to wellness.
• Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine appropriate medical treatment.
• Consult with other medical practitioners regarding patients’ physical and mental health.
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
• Advise patients on health care and co-ordinate primary patient care.
• Provide acute care management.
• Offer counselling and support to patients and their families on a range of health and lifestyle issues.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, or Optometry.
• Certifications:
  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP).
  • Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC).
  • College of Family Physicians Certification in Emergency Medicine (CCFP(EM)).
• Experience: Experience is an asset.

• Fast-paced and physically demanding environment.

• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking is required.
