Job Overview

Our client offers exciting opportunities for long haul truck drivers, with potential immigration support for overseas candidates. We welcome applications from all candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Winnipeg, MB
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $30.00 per hour (40 to 50 hours per week)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Vacancies: 4

Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using GPS or other navigation devices.
• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive trucks to transport goods.
• Inspect vehicle condition including tires, lights, and brakes.
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.

Qualifications

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

Experience is considered an asset.

Credentials

• Air Brakes Endorsement
• Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)

Weight Handling

• Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
