Operations Manager – Restaurant

Our client is seeking an Operations Manager for a restaurant, offering potential visa sponsorship for overseas candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Location: 2500 University Drive NW, Calgary, AB, T2N 1N4
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $36.00 per hour / 30 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time

Overview

• Languages: English
• Education: College/CEGEP
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Work Arrangement: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize daily operations
• Determine types of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
• Conduct performance reviews
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Provide customer service

Supervision

• Supervise staff in various areas of responsibility
