Job Overview

Our client is looking for an Apiary Technician who will be involved in the maintenance and operation of the bee yard and beekeeping equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment
• Clean and maintain equipment
• Feed or assist in feeding the bees
• Interact with bees based on knowledge of their biology, behaviour, ecology, and caste system

Experience and Qualifications

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

Experience in honey harvesting and apiary management is an asset.

Work Conditions

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Physically demanding tasks
• Attention to detail required
• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking involved

Job Details

• Location: Camrose, AB
• Salary: $25.00 per hour / 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend
