Our client is seeking an esthetician to join their team. This position is open to candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Immigration support may be provided for qualified applicants.

Job Details

• Location: Port Hawkesbury, NS
• Salary: $17.00 to $18.00 hourly (to be negotiated)
• Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
• Work Environment: On site, must be willing to relocate
• Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Body care/treatments and custom designs for clients
• Permanent hair removal and laser hair removal
• Providing information and advising customers on beauty products
• Performing various beauty treatments including facials and manicures
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Maintaining cleanliness and providing excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Education: College diploma or equivalent experience (1-2 years)
• Experience: 2 to 3 years in a relevant field
• Required Licenses: Beauty treatment operator’s, Manicurist’s, Skin care specialist’s, Esthetician certification

Skills

• Attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
