Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper for a permanent, full-time position. This job is open to international applicants; immigration support is potentially available.

Salary

Hourly Wage: $26.11 to $30.00 (to be negotiated)

Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

Tasks Include:

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns
• Prepare trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts

Education Requirements

• College/CEGEP
• Or equivalent experience

Experience Requirements

2 years to less than 3 years
