Our client is seeking a Restaurant Manager to join their team. This is a permanent full-time position based in Brampton, ON. Immigration support is potentially available for qualified candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Responsibilities

• Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
• Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
• Evaluate daily operations
• Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
• Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
• Monitor staff performance
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Recruit staff and set work schedules
• Supervise and train staff
• Implement operational procedures
• Balance cash and complete balance sheets
• Conduct performance reviews
• Cost products and services
• Enforce liquor legislation and regulations
• Maintain inventory
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Address customer complaints or concerns
• Manage events

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role
• Language: English
