Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Truck Driver. Visa sponsorship is available for international applicants, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Brampton, ON
• Work Location: On-site
• Salary: $36.00 per hour for 35 to 44 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Vacancies: 2

Responsibilities

• Maintain professionalism in customer service
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks
• Inspect vehicle conditions and perform necessary adjustments
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Communicate with central dispatch
• Record cargo information and manage fuel consumption
• Ensure the safety and security of cargo

Qualifications

• AZ class license
• Air Brakes Endorsement
• Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)

Experience

Experience is an asset but not mandatory.
