Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Family Physician to join their team. We offer immigration support for qualified applicants, including possible visa sponsorship for international candidates.

Job Details

• Location: Brampton, ON
• Salary: $300,000 to $350,000 annually (to be negotiated)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Shifts: Flexible hours
• Vacancies: 2 vacancies

Responsibilities

• Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals.
• Examine patients’ health conditions to identify diseases and injuries.
• Help patients develop healthy habits and reshape their approach to wellness.
• Order laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures for effective medical treatment.
• Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ health.
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
• Advise patients on health care.
• Be the patient advocate.
• Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care.
• Provide acute care management.
• Provide counseling and support to patients and families on health and lifestyle issues.

Qualifications

• Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry (Medicine MD preferred).
• Family medicine residency programs or equivalent experience.
• College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities required.
• Experience is an asset.
