Our client is seeking a Long Haul Truck Driver to join their team in Aldergrove, BC. This position offers permanent, full-time employment and includes immigration support for the right candidate. Job Details

• Location: Aldergrove, BC
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $34.70 per hour for 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
• Special Commitments: Morning, Day, Evening

Responsibilities

• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Load and unload goods.
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• Pay and receive payments for goods.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: Will train.
• Certificates and Licences: Driver’s License (Class 1 or A).
