Position: Food Service Supervisor
Location: 10032 – 101st Avenue, Fort St. John, BC, V1J 2B3
Work Location: On-site
Salary: $18.00 to $19.50 hourly (To be negotiated)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
Special Commitments: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Work Setting: Restaurant
On Site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Tasks:

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Hire food service staff
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Establish work schedules

Supervision:

• 5-10 people
