Our client is seeking a Drywall Installer for permanent, full-time employment. Visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified overseas candidates.

Job Details

• Location: Prince George, BC
• Salary: $28.73 per hour, working 32 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time
• Work Conditions: Day and weekend shifts may be required

Responsibilities

• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
• Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
• Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
• Languages: English
