Overview

Our client is looking for a Home Support Worker who will provide essential care and companionship to clients. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need.

Responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care
• Administer medications
• Assist clients with personal hygiene and bathing
• Encourage regular exercise, e.g., walking
• Provide companionship
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Work Setting

• Live-in accommodation available at no charge (optional)
• Work must be performed onsite

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
• Certificates: CPR and First Aid Certificates required

Skills

• Client-focused and reliable
• Strong organizational skills
• Patience and honesty
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
