Our client is seeking a Cook to join their team. Visa sponsorship may be considered for the right international applicants.

  Location: 8100 Yonge Street, Thornhill, ON, L4J 6W6
• 
  Salary: $17.20 hourly, for 35 hours per week
• 
  Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time
• 
  Shifts: Flexible hours with overtime available
• 
  Number of Vacancies: 8

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• Order supplies and maintain inventory records.
• Clean kitchen and work areas.
• Organize buffets and banquets.
• Manage kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
• Languages: English

Work Conditions

• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle heavy loads and work under pressure.
• Public transportation is available.
