Salary: $15.65 per hour, 30 to 40 hours per week

On-Site Work: Work must be completed at the physical location.

Responsibilities

• Book appointments
• Cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences
• Shampoo customers’ hair
• Shave and trim beards and mustaches
• Provide hair treatments such as waving, straightening, and tinting
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses for hair coloring
• Suggest hairstyles compatible with client’s features
• Perform receptionist duties

Credentials

Required Certificate: Hairstylist Licence

Experience and Specialization

Hair Styling Techniques:

• Blow drying
• Iron waving/curling
• Permanents
• Roller setting

Hair Coloring Techniques:

• Bleach
• Dyes/tints
• Frosting
• Streaking/highlights
