Job Details

• Location: 2284 Wyecroft Road, Oakville, ON, L6L 6M1
• Salary: $55,000 to $75,000 annually (to be negotiated) / 44 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time
• Work setting: On site, Various locations
• Vacancies: 5

Responsibilities

• Professionalism in customer service
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
• Licenses: AZ class license, Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
• Documentation Knowledge: Accident or incident reports, Bill of lading, Driver logbook, Inspection reports, Trans-border documentation, Trip reports

Skills

• Operate GPS and other navigation equipment
• Willingness to travel cross-border, for extended periods and overnight
• Excellent oral communication skills, judgment, and reliability
