Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Painter for permanent full-time employment. We accept applications from Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Immigration support is potentially available for qualified applicants.

Job Details

• Location: Abbotsford, BC
• Salary: $37.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week
• Work Location: On site
• Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time
• Special Commitments: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
• Repair cracks and holes
• Mix paint to desired colour and texture
• Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
• Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings
• Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
• Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces

Experience and Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Languages: English
