Our client is seeking a Cook to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Wabowden, MB. Visa sponsorship may be considered for international applicants; candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit, are encouraged to apply.

• Salary: $16.80 hourly (80 hours bi-weekly)
• Work Location: On site
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Hours: Morning, Evening, Weekend, Overtime available

Responsibilities

• Plan menus and estimate food requirements.
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• Train staff in food preparation and cooking.
• Order supplies and maintain inventory.
• Clean kitchen and work areas, and organize buffets.
• Manage kitchen operations.

Qualifications

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Experience

• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.

Certificates

• Safe Food Handling certificate.
