Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a Long Haul Truck Driver. We are encouraging applications from all candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Immigration support is potentially available for qualified applicants.

Job Details

• Location: Edmonton, AB
• Salary: $36.00 per hour
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Vacancies: 2

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Inspect vehicle condition and relevant equipment
• Pay and receive payments for goods
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information and fuel consumption
• Ensure safety and security of cargo

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

Will train

Credentials

• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
• Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
