Our client is seeking a dedicated Child Caregiver for a private home in Toronto, ON. This role offers temporary accommodation options and welcomes applications from international candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Work Location: On-site
• Salary: $20.00 to $20.50 per hour (to be negotiated)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time

Overview

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking and scent-free.

Work Setting: Accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (not a condition of employment).

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
• Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
• Care for pets.
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Supervise and care for children.
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children.

Experience and Specialization

• Supervise and care for a multi-aged group of children.

Additonal Information

• Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
• Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
• Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organization, reliability.
