Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper for a permanent, full-time position. Visa sponsorship may be considered for overseas candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Brampton, ON
• Work Location: On-site
• Salary: $36.00 per hour
• Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
• Reconcile accounts

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
• Languages: English
• Computer Skills: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office
