Job Details

• Location: 17 Knighton Drive, North York, ON, M4A 1V9
• Salary: $35.00 per hour for approximately 30 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• Estimate costs and materials.
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments.

Qualifications

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Experience: 2 to less than 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Languages: English

Work Environment

• Work setting: On-site, construction, various locations, renovation, willing to relocate, commercial, and residential.
• Work conditions: Physically demanding; must be able to handle heavy loads, and work at heights.
• Transportation/travel: Willingness to travel is required.
