Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager – Retail for their retail service establishment located in Powell River, BC. This position offers potential immigration support for international candidates.

Job Details

• Location: 7408 BC-101, Powell River, BC V8A 0R1
• Salary: $40.90 hourly (35 to 40 hours per week)
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Work Setting: On-site, Retail service establishment

Responsibilities

• Direct and control daily operations.
• Evaluate daily operations.
• Plan and organize daily operations.
• Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and potential sales volumes.
• Implement pricing and credits policies.
• Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies.
• Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.
• Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
• Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
• Oversee payroll administration.
• Supervise office and volunteer staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
• Languages: English.
