Our client is seeking a Food Store Supervisor to join their team in Richmond, BC. This position is open to candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate.

• Salary: $22.60 hourly / 30 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Day shifts

Responsibilities

• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Authorize return of merchandise
• Establish work schedules
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
• Conduct performance reviews
• Develop marketing strategies

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
• Languages: English
