225 Provincial Nominee Invitations in Latest Canada Express Entry
Hey there! If you’re considering making Canada your new home, you’re in luck! Canada recently held an Express Entry draw on August 6, where they issued 225 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) specifically for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). This is a pathway allowing provinces to nominate individuals for permanent residency (PR) based on local labour market needs. The minimum score needed on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) dropped to 739, down by 49 points from the last PNP draw on July 23, which should give hopefuls more optimism.
The draw music continues! The previous draw focused on healthcare and social services, awarding 4,000 ITAs with a minimum CRS score of 475. It’s clear that Canada is prioritising skills that its economy needs!

What Can Employers Do to Recruit Foreign Workers?
If you’re an employer in Canada, it’s a great time to start thinking about attracting foreign talent. Securing an LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) can be essential for employers looking to hire international workers. An LMIA assesses the impact of hiring a foreign worker on the Canadian job market. Additionally, consider nominating workers under provincial nomination programs where applicable.
Our website, VisaJobsCanada.com, focuses specifically on Canadian jobs that offer visa sponsorship to international applicants, making it easier for employers to find qualified candidates to fill positions that may require foreign expertise.
