Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Restaurant Manager to join our client’s team. Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate, including support for those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Unit #101 and #102, 116 – 2ND AVENUE SW, Calgary, AB, T2P 0B9
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $36.00 hourly for 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend
• Number of Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities

• Evaluate daily operations
• Monitor staff performance
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Set staff work schedules
• Supervise staff
• Train staff
• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
• Conduct performance reviews
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Provide customer service

Experience and Qualifications

• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years, or equivalent experience
• Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years in a similar role
• Languages: English

Skills and Attributes

• Computer proficiency in electronic cash registers, MS Office, and point of sale systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Reliable, organized, and a team player
• Excellent interpersonal and client-focused skills
