Overview

• Languages: English
• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1–2 years or equivalent experience
• Experience: 2 to 3 years in a restaurant environment

Responsibilities

• Direct and control daily operations
• Evaluate daily operations
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Manage staff and assign duties
• Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and effects of competitors’ operations on sales
• Determine merchandise and services to be sold
• Implement pricing and credit policies
• Develop and implement marketing strategies
• Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
• Determine staffing requirements
• Resolve issues, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
• Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers

Supervision

• Supervision of 3–4 people
